Submitting Digital Copies of Your Entry
In addition to dropping off or mailing your matted photo entry, you must also send us a digital copy of your photo by email to info@landtrustsphotocontest.org. If you do not want to use email, you may submit your digital file on a CD with your matted photo entry.
Your entry will not be considered complete until we receive a digital file.
Why do we ask for digital files?
Winning photos are posted on our website and used to promote future contests. In addition, at the Reception in April, although we put all entries on exhibit, we may also have a slideshow of all entries.
Size and format?
There are no explicit requirements for the size and format of your digital file, nevertheless, a jpg format is preferred. The size of the file should be large enough to retain the quality of the image. We will let you know if we have any difficulty with the size or format of your digital file.
Label your digital file
Instead of sending us a digital file that is named something like “6548.jpg” please provide us with a digital file that includes the photographer’s name and the title of the photo, such as:
Joanna Smith-Swallows Circling.jpg
If you have difficulty labeling your digital file, you may submit it as is, but please include the name of the photographer and the title of the work in the body of your email with the attached digital file.
Questions?
Contact us at info@landtrustsphotocontest.org if you have any questions about how to submit your digital file.
